This training DVD "Correct Handling of Protective Clothing" is an important addition to the current service package offered by DuPont Personal Protection. From numerous discussions with users we are aware that the problem of contaminating employees as a result of putting on and taking off protective clothing incorrectly or acting without due care whilst working in a protective suit, is just as an important issue as the choice of the suit itself.

 This training DVD "Correct Handling of Protective Clothing" has been produced in collaboration with DuPont de Nemours (Luxembourg) S.Ã r.l., Ciba Specialty Chemicals Inc., Novartis Pharma AG and F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG under the supervision of DuPont de Nemours (Luxembourg) S.Ã r.l..

By working closely with experienced safety engineers on the production of this DVD it has been possible to provide a practical interpretation of the problems associated with wearing protective clothing. The objective of this DVD is to teach employees the right way to handle protective clothing.

The DVD covers

  • Protection against dust particles
  • Protection against liquids each with 7 modules, covering the following subjects : selecting a protective garment, selecting the size, putting on the protective garment, working in the protective garment, taking off the protective garment, disposal, and a summary.
